    Red iPod Nano

This is a Special Edition iPod nano (PRODUCT)RED. The price is 199.00. It has 4GB. I am thinking about buying one even though I cannot hear but can save my files, pictures and, I think, videos on it. Apple will give $10 of the price you buy to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa. Nice, huh?

You can check the Global Fund here.

Let’s join and help fight against AIDS!

Correction: There is no video feature can be shown on iPod nano; the original iPod only has that feature.  Also, it does not save files, but you can save photos only. It also has more extra features, like game, clock, calendar, contacts, notes, or stopwatch.

    Funny Ad…

I like other country’s ads… they are funny. Some are straightforward. Some say it right there. US is not like that… they are very careful with the ads here…

You can watch that ad… but be warned… it probably is not safe at work. Actually, it is nothing like nudity. Maybe it is no harm to it to watch while you are at work. I don’t want to say too much what it is about… At first, I was a bit puzzled… and did not undertand until the end. Ahh, I get it. It was really funny.
Ok, ok, the hint; I will quote a sentence from its video:

‘A nervous bachelor cools off his troops before a hot date…’

    The ad is here.

    We All Have AIDS

Kenneth Cole, the famous clothing designer, launched a new AIDS campaign not a long ago called We All Have AIDS. AIDS Activists from all over the world join his campaign. You will see many familiar faces below the image. They are trying to help raise the funds for AIDS research, medications to Zero for poor people who cannot afford them. I know my therapy medication costs over $1,200 a month, without a health insurance. That is a lot of money. Not cheap. Of course, most medications are not cheap anyway. But some 20 millions don't get the therapy they need, mostly in third world countries.

    Who Are Those Activists?

When you click that image, it will take you to the site telling who are those Activists. I read an article somewhere that the Activists were standing on the wet cement to get their print (you may see that in the image above) and hang a hard cement up in the We All Have AIDS exhibit in New York in order to support the campaign. How cool is that!

There are also 800 symbolic We All Have AIDS ornaments on the 51-foot tall Christmas tree at Bryant in New York City through the holidays. It is a very nice and simple ornament. I have posted some pics from one blogger. I believe they are planning to sell those ornaments for 30 dollars.

    Two Days to Christmas…

Christmas is near… Are you excited? Yeah, I am! ;-)

I just want to say something… You know AIDS has been around for more than twenty years now. Since 1981, 25 millions died. Yes it is very sad. We lost our loved ones to it. Since Christmas is around, they should be remembered. We also should not be sad because they are with us in our heart, anywhere we go. Christmas party, gathering, and opening gifts, go on. They will be there. Be merrily and have a joyful time. As for myself, I know my partner, Hassan will be around and will spend the Christmas together heartily in my heart. I will be thinking of him at Christmas. I will cherish wonderful memories with him during the Christmas. I miss him dearly.

    World AIDS Day

December 1st is World AIDS Day. It is time for us to fight against the HIV/AIDS. We thank Scientists for their hard work to find the vaccine, or cure for HIV/AIDS. Today, we are thankful that we can live longer than 12 years because of 20 current HIV therapy medications today. If it were not for those 20 medicines, we may not live longer than that. Now a few people with HIV are healthy and alive for more than twenty years since the AIDS pandemic began. For myself, I have HIV for 9 years now. I will live for another 11 years, for sure. I have to. I will fight against it until I get a vaccine or cure. ;-)

Unfortunately, HIV/AIDS has not prevented people from getting it through needle sharing, sex intercourse, and breast feeding. Right now there is 40.3 million people are infected with HIV/AIDS worldwide.

According to the The Examiner: Washington, the result is:

    4 children infected every minute
    1 child dies every minute
    72 adults infected every minute
    5 adults die every minute
    25 million dead since 1981

It saddens me to see that 2.2 million children are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS today. They are so innocent. They have to live with it for their rest of lives. They dont deserve that!

Now HIV/AIDS research is around over the world to find the vaccine and cure, yet they need more money to boost their research. It is not cheap. HIV is a very smart virus, they can find ways to “pass behind the firewall.” In The Examiner, it said:

A scientist from Jerusalem who helped to discover the HIV virus said he has made progress toward producing an AIDS vaccine and hopes to launch a clinical trial in about a year.
