You don’t need to ask anyone to take a picture of you…

or even with your partner, family, or a group…

This is an amzing invention… wow.. you know digitial cameras has a hole, where you can attach to the the pod to stand still to take pics … You dont have to deal with the hassle by carrying a standing pod with you anymore. You can have this, what they called, a Quick Pod! It is only 3.5 ounces. It can extend to 18.5″. You can carry it in your pant pocket, coat pocket, or in the bag. It is good for travelling! You can check that Quick Pod site here. It has a display video of it. The basic model price is $25.00, but you can buy this at the great price: 19 dollars via Amazon.com.

    The "Seconds” Tents

What does the “Seconds” Tent mean ?

You know when you are going to camp, you have to set up a tent. It takes appox between 10 to 30 minutes, depending on how big it is, or small it is, right?

Well with “Seconds’ Tent, you can do it in 2-3 seconds. How? How? 2-3 seconds!?!? No way.

Yeah, it apparently does… that is why it got the name. You will see why it does in less than 3 seconds…

You can click that image (does it look cool and easy?) above, and it will take you to the site, and you can explore links. It has different sizes. It has TV ads. Also, it has Crash Test. It is a great site.It costs 35 to 50 in pounds currency (UK), depending on sizes. I think it costs like around $50 to $100. Not bad.

Now I want to buy that tent and go camping and enjoy the nature!

    Cool Fire Station!

You know most Fire Stations usually have brick buildings with big garages. Typical, right? Boring.

Well, the Netherlands has outdoned it. There it goes an amazing Fire Station below. It is different and cool! I like it! I am very impressed. No more Traditional building! ;-) This one is in Houten, Netherlands.

To be honest with you, every time I see a design of things outside the US, I envy of them. I wish we had great designers like them here. I might have been blinded. I am sure we have great designers… but often, I see the designs has been done other countries… For example, in my recent entry on subway and spa… I dont see such beautiful designs here… Well I may speak too soon because I don’t travel well enough… but I have kept an open eye across Internet. I am a very heavy Internet user. I explore and surf on Internet every day. I don’t see greatness in design here here. Sure, there are very few great designs here, like Apple Store in New York. It is different and unique. But remember, Apple is filled with creativity. That is what they are good at. :-)

Ha, thank you for the compliment on our great fire station! I live just a couple of hundred meters away from it. And as you said it is a trully great disign. But I don’t agree with what you said about not having great disigners in the US. I was working on a project about Wholefoods Market (don’t know if you’ve heard about it) but the designs of some of their stores are awsome.

    Cool Pespi Ad

I think it is cool. I know it is a disadvantage for deafies, but hey, it will come around soon. And the technology is getting better and better. Actually, the reason why I post this is because I love PEPSI! :-)

    pepsiacc.jpg

BBDO created a subway poster that has a fully functional headphone jack imbedded in it, which plays samples of various exclusive tracks available at pepsiaccess.ca. There are close to 100 posters playing 12 different tracks running in Toronto and Vancouver from now until the end of summer.

Every Pepsi comes with a PIN, which can be redeemed for access to ultra-exclusive music, concerts, events, etc. at pepsiaccess.ca. This poster plays a 30 second track sample of “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley. After an announcer says: “That was a taste of an exclusive track from Gnarls Barkley. Check out pepsiaccess.ca for more.”

Yahoo Goes Gay! It is a central of happenings for Gay Prides 2006. Nice. But I did not see anything about Washington DC's gay pride in there. :-( Maybe you can find it. If you do, let me know.

More Info on the Standing Room Only…

Graystorm mentioned the standing room only while flying in his blog… So I decided to research bit about it. Of course, I am a curious person. I want to see what it would look like if they ever have designed one. Turns out, I found two images via Google, and I thought you would like to see what it looks like in a bit. The idea was researched in 2003, but abandoned since then. According to a source, Airbus denied planning the idea of standing room only…

The Airbus official went on to say: “It is not something that Airbus has been working on and if flies in the face of what we’re doing with the A380, which is more room. We can assure you it is not an Airbus idea, we have not talked about it inside Airbus and our customers have not asked us about such an idea.” via [Guardian Unlimited

    An evolution of seating

The picture of the airplane you saw in Miss Graystorm’s entry (the link is given in the beginning) is Airbus A380. I heard about that plane. It is the largest airplane. But I was in awe to learn that the plane, itself, can carry 555 passengers. It did not occur to me until now… I always have known that most airplanes can hold 200 to 250 passengers. But over 500, wow…

Now if the idea of standing ‘seats’ is going to happen, it will able to hold a whopping 853 passengers on that plane…Also, I read somewhere said that Airbus A380, depending on the configuration, is big enough to have a casino, nurseries, shops and bars.

In that case, I would not mind standing while flying. Usually, when the plane is in the air, I can unhook the belt, get up and walk around. I would go on a little shopping and drink some martini at the bar (only if they have them, and I will make sure of it.) When it is ready to land, of course, I have to go back to my standing position and belt up. ;-)

    Eiffel Tower

I have been longed for the visit of Paris. I always want to go there. I want to see the Eiffel Tower. But I am very happy that I have already been to Paris’s Eiffel Tower. Tonight! Yeah, that is right. It is very beautiful. You can see from there, too. You know that? Feel free to go the full view on the top of Effel Tower any time. Have a great visit.

P.S. Of course, it is much better to view in person.

P.S.S. You need a Quicktime program.
